As the name might suggest, the idea was formed by two chefs – Billy (from Hudiksvall) and Micke (from Norrkping) who have tirelessly labored with the help of their Thai staff and skilled cooks to create a brand you can trust. Their first restaurant in Phuket was established in July 2001 at Kata Beach. Seating roughly 130 guests, the restaurant was critically acclaimed in its infancy. The success of the first branch ensured a natural progression was imminent, which resulted in the opening of the second restaurant on the main strip at Karon Beach. Some say three's a crowd, but not Two Chefs. The third Two Chef's establishment at Kata center was constructed, this time with a more modern decor, seating over 100 guests. This is a great place to not only consume top quality food, but to also enjoy the vibrant surroundings of Kata Center whilst people watching.
If you are staying in Karon or Kata, you cannot say you have visited these destinations thoroughly unless you have sampled the exquisite Two Chef's fare. If you are staying in Patong, Chalong, Nai Harn or Rawai, you can easily visit the restaurants within a 15 minute drive.
